Lausanne jardins
Lausanne, 2013-2014

Set in an urban environment, the project creates a strong contrast between the mineral, static constructed elements and the dynamic, evolving planted areas. The vegetation colonises the temple from inside, swelling to overflowing. Defying all logic, the vertical lawns create a certain abstraction that emphasises the singular nature of the installation. It resembles a parasite, representing an anomaly set against an ordinary backdrop.
